‘Nuther Update

This is another hard one to write.
My wife was diagnosed with ILD this past week.
We are traveling to Ft. Worth tomorrow to see a lung specialist. The prognosis is not good.
Things were going so well too.
I got my rototiller in and have been tilling two trailer loads of horseshit into the corn field.
I bought a Cub Cadet RT-65 after some research. Works great.
I got the chipper fixed. After the valve job, I cleaned the carb again and found a clogged pickup.
Ordered a bunch of onion and potato sets and flower bulbs for the wife.
We’ll probably have to sell the ranch, as she will likely have to resign her position.
Will update.

  1. Godammit man I wish I had something to say that would help.
    I don’t.
Let’s hope it is a treatable kind.
    Be well my friend.

  2. My condolences sir, I hope like stated above, it is treatable. Mom was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis last year, its been hard to see her suffer. Not in any pain, but she has dry cough spells and needs to rest when walking as she gets out of breath easily. She went to a clinic in Fort Worth for stem cell treatments, which though expensive, has seemed to ease her symptoms. Virtually painless, they draw blood, insert the treatment and return the blood with the treatment. It took several weeks, but she does seem to be better – at least her voice sounds more stronger.

Prayers for your wife’s condition – I hope she feels better soon.
