Classic Rock For Today

Another band I found by accident in the mid 70s. The lead singer, Terry Luttrell was formerly the lead singer in the first REO Speedwagon album I did yesterday. Luttrell found Jesus, and left the band…and REO declined into the hapless realm of top 40 pop rock.

They sound a bit like Yes.

This was one of the few albums that I had the 8-track, LP and now the CD. This is their first album…the second, not so good IMO.

  1. You have succeeded and found one that I hadn’t heard of. I agree with you that they do sound a bit like Yes. I also hear some shades of ELP in there, too. Pretty good stuff. Speaking of the Yes group, do you remember singer Jon Anderson teaming up with the Greek synthesizer player Vangelis? I always liked this song from them:
